Summer Art Camps 2018 -

Myart camps are full of fun and
creativity! Campers draw, paint and create amazing art all centered
on a specific theme. Campers will learn how to create using
markers, oil and chalk pastels, colored pencil, acrylic and watercolors.
Every year we offer brand new projects so returning campers are
always drawing something new. Camps are open to all ages 5 and up.
Our weekly camps are held
Monday-Thursday, 9:30 am-12:00 noon for ages
5&up. The cost of each camp is $140 and
includes all art supplies.
Our Friday camps are from 9:00 am -12:00
noon for ages 5&up. The cost of each camp is $40 and includes all art supplies.
Because of our limited class size, our camps do fill

FOUR DAY CAMPS - AGES
5 & Up
our tribe and capture your boho vibe with the popular
colorful string art technique! We will draw and paint a
piece on wood for the background and then highlight with
string making it 3D. Be free spirited creating a musical
guitar, a hippie feathered dream catcher, looping “love”
letters and more. You will learn different patterns like
outlining, scribbling, ombre, zigzag with each project.
June 4-7, 9:30-12:00
New Camp - Llama Love
Travel to South
America in the Andes mountains where llamas and alpacas live. Join
us as we explore them and their environment with projects that use
many fun materials! We will make an adorable 3D paper art piece, a
mixed media painting with a Peruvian textile background and create
our own stuffed fluffy friend complete with pom pom
necklaces, accessories and more!
June 11-14, 9:30-12:00
Rock Garden and
mountains are calling and I must go! Adventure awaits outside with
our nature art camp. Create an adorable rock garden featuring
painted rocks with croaking frogs on lily pads, little ladybugs, and
other tiny garden creatures. Let’s sleep under the stars and draw a
camp out scene with oil pastels and watercolor, a pastel and colored
pencil bear in the mountains, fluttering butterflies and a gorgeous
mixed media firefly acrylic painting.
June 18-21, 9:30-12:00
We are going
Sharpie crazy! Experiment with metallics, bright colors, thick,
thin, black, puffy paint and more to provide rich color and bold
lines to create amazing art! Make it original by using Sharpies on
everyday basics like a Mexican sugar skull flowerpot, an intricate
henna hands piece and tie dye effects on a concentric circle t
shirt. Spark your creativity when using this simple medium that
highlights bold, vivid color!
June 25-28, 9:30-12:00
and Stamp Lab
how to turn everyday objects into easy-to-use stamps and printing
blocks. Make a custom foam stamp and experiment with cookie cutters,
pony tail holders, string, novelty erasers, and create beautiful
hand-printed projects on a zipper and drawstring pouch, a
celebration bunting, wall art and other creative surfaces! We will
talk about simple print design basics like repeat, motifs, positive
and negative space.
Wee Enchanted Fairy and Gnome Garden
a magical miniature fairy land! You will start by creating your own
fairy house vignette on a bark base. Use sticks, moss, leaves and
colorful stones to start your garden. We will sculpt ceramic
mushrooms, gnomes and woodland animals from polymer clay. Of course
fairies will live in your garden. Enchanting art projects from our
hidden forest will also be a part of our week using a variety of
mediums-acrylic paint, oil and chalk pastels, colored pencils,
watercolors and markers. Make-believe with us!
July 16-19, 9:30-12:00
Kawaii Art -Mini Treats
and Food Plushies Camp
get utterly adorable with Kawaii-style art, the culture of cuteness
in Japan! We will create mini plushie characters based on these
pieces using simple sewing, stuffing, embroidery floss and more to
make adorable faces and add details! We will also combine our
cuteness into an acrylic painting depicting Kawaii style!
July 23-26, 9:30-12:00
Mod Podge and
Explore the wonderful world of Mod Podge and collage! Design a
series of five happy little mini mixed media paintings on 3D
canvases. Each work will be a different size with one large canvas.
We will explore how art can cover all sides and use a scraping
technique for the backgrounds. An “art bar” of assorted materials to
choose from will be part of the fun to add to your creative
process-bright and metallic paint, sharpies, gel pens, feathers,
Washi tape, fabric scraps and more.
PAINT AND SCULPT ONE DAY
FRIDAY CAMPS, 9:30-NOON, AGES 5 & UP
Our fabulous one day Friday camps
combine our summer themed paintings with an acrylic painting on canvas
and a sculpture made from clay! Create mini clay sculptures learning our
clay basics techniques. Using polymer clay, we teach you how to make a
ball, roll, flatten, shape and blend colors. Glazing and baking are also
included! Our sculptures will be made into necklaces, earrings, zipper
charms, key chains, treasure boxes and more.

to 10 days prior to the camp, a full refund (less a $20 retainer
fee) will be given. After the 10 days prior to camp begins, there will be no refunds
unless the camp is cancelled by the Studio.
addition to our summer camps, we also have our weekly Myart classes. You may start these classes anytime. Tuition is
due the first of each month and will be prorated if you join mid month.
